Job Description:
A-  Ensuring adherence with UAE VAT and other tax compliances including computation of tax, payment of tax, filing of returns, and related compliances;
B- Analysing transactional data and validating the correctness of the same to ensure compliance with VAT/ GST requirements;
C- Working closely with multiple teams, such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Revenue Accounting, etc. to ensure complete and accurate tax reporting in tax computations and returns filing and advising on system changes and correct reporting, if needed;
D– Oversight of Indian tax compliance, including liaison with the India outstation finance team and our external consultant, provision of guidance to financial reporting teams and other stakeholders in relation to Indian taxation;
E– Managing tax audits, reviews, and disputes in UAE, India, and across other jurisdictions and preparing adequate documentation in response to tax audits and to support positions taken by the company during audit defenses;

Skills:
A- Chartered Accountant (or other relevant professional chartered qualification (e.g., CA, ACA, CPA)) with 7-8 years of experience in tax compliances;
B- Good practical knowledge of international taxation and Indian taxation;
C- Prior “In-house” tax experience will be important;
D– Confidence and experience in operating in an international business environment (for example, having worked for a multi-national company or international advisory firm);
E– Experience in dealing with requests from, or audits conducted by, tax authorities;
