SYSTEM MANAGEMENT OFFICER
Full Time
Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:
A- Design, implement and automate information management procedures and customize solutions for the Department when needed.
B- Convert articles, books, research, lectures, and all academic materials related to the curriculum for people with disabilities into programs and formats that are appropriate for each type of disability (such as a screen reader, Braille, audio programs, etc.)
C- Encourage and assist students with disabilities to use the latest supporting technologies and programs.
D– Help users understand the system by providing technical support and assistance, and provide technical support to disability resource rooms, as well as update and upgrade all current technologies and programs.
E– Handle any required software/system upgrades and updates to ensure that they are functional and accessible.
F– Continuously search for the latest technologies and software that enhance the services of the Disability Resource Center.

Skills:
A- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a relevant discipline.
B- 2-4 years of UAE experience in similar role preferably in higher education institutions.
C- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, in both Arabic and English.
D– Excellent customer service skills.
E– Demonstrate a good understanding of operating the required software/hardware
