Sourcing Specialist
Full Time
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Description:
A- Initiates and drives sourcing of suppliers for engineering commodities and services
B- Identifying requirements for contracts from purchase data and proposing prospective suppliers for the same
C- Managing tenders, bids and converting the same into sub-contracts to meet the project requirements
D– Assures full alignment and implementation of Global/Regional agreements/contracts Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools, processes and systems, preferred supplier list, etc
E– Ensure full implementation of agreed contracts, made by applicable Commodity Leaders into the local system
F– Ensure strict adoption and implementation of all ethics and compliance regulations and train/inform relevant stake holders & Participate in Statutory audits
Skills:
A- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ management/supply chain
B- Experience in managing bids, tenders and closure of contracts in coordination with internal  stakeholders and the legal team
C-Â Good oral and written communication skills
D– Experience of working in Oil and gas/ Maritime companies is preferable though not essential
E– Self-driven and a problem solving mindset
