Audit Manager – Retail Credit
Full Time

Job Description:
A- Execute /Manage various phases of an audit assignment which include:
B- Conduct discussions and walkthroughs as part of the planning phase.
C- Execute the approved Audit Program.  Complete the audit tests for the areas allocated in an audit assignment within the agreed timelines.
D– Ensure that all the audit tests conducted are supported with adequate documentation.  Complete the work papers in the audit management system for review.
E– Lead audits and assume the role of the Lead Auditor as and when tasked by GIA management.
F– Support the follow-up and closure of corrective action plans.  Discuss and review the corrective action plans closures submitted by the business and recommend appropriate actions to the Heads of Audit/ Sr. Manager.
G– Attend Portfolio Review meetings on behalf of GIA and critically analyze the Retail Credit MIS periodically to provide tangible inputs to Head of Audit/Sr. Manager on audit approach.

Skills:
A- Bachelor’s degree in banking relevant fields (i.e., Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from a recognized institution.
B- Certifications such as CA, ACCA CPA, or CIA is mandatory.
C- Specialised knowledge and experience in or in auditing Banking Retail Segment (across Product, Policy, Sales, and Credit) and Retail Portfolio Analysis.
D– Minimum eight years’ experience in external audit, internal audit or related activities.
E– Minimum five years’ banking audit experience, retail credit audit, credit risk analysis, retail banking, etc.
